World: Analysts forecast continued and steady recovery for global beer volume growth
RMI Analytics’ forecast for global beer volume growth is a continued and steady recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic disruption, the analysts said in their late March report.
Sustained volume growth will come mainly from consumer resilience in on-premise occasions and solid global economic expansion, the experts believe.
As beer volumes increase, global malting capacity utilization tightens. By 2027, it is expected to reach 92% globally.
A global malting surplus is forecast to remain in place, but on a declining basis through 2027.
