USA, OH: Royal Docks Brewing Co. expands to Cleveland
Royal Docks Brewing Co. has expanded to Cleveland, indeonline.com reported on November 21.
Its newest location Tied House + Kitchen officially opened Tuesday in the city's Hingetown neighborhood at 2814 Detroit Ave. The brewery is next to COhatch Ohio City, a coworking space.
This is our newest addition, as we plan and grow our globally inspired concept throughout Northeast Ohio," Royal Docks brewmaster Dave Sutula said. "This move into Cleveland has been coming for some time.
Founded in 2015, Royal operates three spots in Stark County taprooms in Jackson and Plain townships and a production brewery in Jackson.
The Ohio City and Hingetown area is a busy craft brewery district, with Great Lakes, Market Garden, Hansa House, Nano Brew, Bookhouse and Saucy nearby. Royal Docks moved into a location formerly occupied by Columbus-based North High Brewing.
This is the perfect place for us, Sutula added. The brewery community is already built, and its a very walkable area.
The new Tied House + Kitchen will feature Royal Docks signature small-batch beers, including customer favorites Backyard Crusher, Northeast Legacy Lager, Royal Pils and Vlad Imperial Stout. Wood-aged selections, made on-site in Hingetown, will be featured as well as a full-service cocktail bar.
Theres something for everyone food, cocktails, wine if youre not a beer drinker," Sutula said. "Of course, youre way cooler if you do drink our beer!
Hours at the new location will be: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
