USA, NY: Naples Brewing Co. to close as of November 1
Naples Brewing Co., which quickly became a fixture in this lively Ontario County village since opening in 2021, has announced it will be closing as of Nov. 1, the Democrat and Chronicle reported on October 10.
In a post Oct. 9, owners Dan diGiovanna, Trevor Andrews, Larkin Ryan and Jillian Foster said shifts in the beverage industry, career changes and growing families meant the time has come to close up shop.
While its difficult to end this chapter, we collectively believe that life flows through stages, and this one has truly been wonderful, the Facebook post reads. We are so thankful for the opportunity to bring this dream to life over the past five years. It has been an honor getting to know so many members of the community, and we loved being involved in such a range of events over the years. Well never take for granted all the support we received!
College buddies Dan diGiovanna and Trevor Andrews opened Naples Brewing Co. in 2021 at 104 N. Main St. in the village, about a year before nearby Engine 14 Brewery opened in space owned by Hazlitt Red Cat Cellars and a devastating fire damaged Hollerhorn Distilling, which reopened better than ever in 2023.
With Inspire Moore and Arbor Hill Grapery & Winery, together they all helped make Naples an envied craft beer, wine, and spirits destination spot in the Finger Lakes.
The owners said it will be business as usual for the brewery during the month of October.
Cider doughnut flight pairings have returned for the fall season and while the to-go beer supply was depleted during the recent Naples Grape Festival, crowlers and growlers will be available.
A few more beer releases are planned the rest of the month, the owners said.
On Nov. 1, the final day of operation, Naples Brewing Co. will be open from noon to 8 p.m.
The owners thank parents, families, close friends, incredible staff and dedicated regulars, because none of this would have been possible.
"Thank you for being along for the ride! the post reads. Much love to you all!
