USA, WI: Lombardi Brewing Company announces grand opening of new Milwaukee location
Lombardi Brewing Company has announced the grand opening of its new Milwaukee location on Sept. 19 at 2200 W. Mt. Vernon Ave., formerly a City Lights Brewing location, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported on September 15.
The opening begins at 3 p.m., according to an announcement on Lombardi's website.
According to a post on the LBC Facebook page, management is still in the process of fully realizing its plans for the Milwaukee site. While the taproom has been updated, "our patio vision won't be started until early 2026," LBC stated.
"We feel we will be able to brew when winter arrives, but until we have confirmation on long term repairs, we will rely on other assets in our portfolio to provide beer," LBC reported on Facebook. It is using the excess capacity of District 1 Brewing in Stevens Point to brew its beers.
The post also estimated that brewing at the Milwaukee facility could begin this winter.
LBC founder John Lombardi founded the brewery in honor of his grandfathers, one being former Green Bay Packers head coach Vince Lombardi.
