Ukraine: Beer production up 7.8% in 2023

Ukraine’s beer production (excluding zero-alcohol beer with alcohol content less than 0.5% by volume) in 2023 amounted to 13.34 mln hl, up 7.8% versus 2022, trade association Ukrpivo reported on January 18.

Compared to 2021 (the year before the Russian invasion), though, the output was down 21.7%.

The nation’s beer production in 2022 dropped by 27.9% from 2021 – to 12.28 mln hl.
