Ukraine & Russia: Barley crop forecasts reduced for both nations

Ukraine’s barley crop estimate is reduced slightly to 10.1 mln tonnes from 10.4 mln last month but still remains a good outcome, RMI Analytics reported earlier this month.

Barley shipments from Ukraine remain very strong (mostly to China).

A similar reduction in production forecast has been made for Russia as final yield results were disappointing, leaving production estimated at 18.7 mln tonnes, from 19.3 mln in the previous report.
