Azerbaijan: Carlsberg Azerbaijan planning to launch a malting plant in Azerbaijan next year
Carlsberg Azerbaijan is planning to launch its first local malting plant in January 2024, Interfax Azerbaijan reported on January 18.
“We expect to be able to process 100% of our barley into malt locally in the nearest future,” said Carlsberg CEO Cees ‘t Hart during a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev in Davos.
The company also intends to make other investments in Azerbaijan, he added without providing any further details.
