Romania: Martens Galati tripled its profit, turnover unchanged
Martens Galati brewery, subsidiary of Belgian group Martins, announced a 2006 turnover of 22.5 mil lei (6.4 mil Euro), keeping the same level as in 2005, Ziarul Financiar published May 21.
The profit rose 3 times last year, from 160.000 lei to 500.000 lei (145.000 Euro).
Martens Galati produces beer, malt and refreshing beverages. Its production is designated 99% for internal market and 1% for export. The company produces beer in bottles, cans and PET.
