Japan: A good start of beer sales this year in Japan

Beer sales started well this year in Japan. After an increase of sales of all three categories of beer of 7.8 % in January, the figure jumped to plus 11.8 % In February. Pilsen type beer registered increases 7.3 and 9.3 % respectively, happo-shu lost, while the 3rd category (brewed without any malt) had gained a market share of 21 % by the end of February.
