Brewing news USA, SC: 13 Stripes Brewery to close location in Taylors and move to Greenville

Hampton Station in Greenville has a new tenant, 13 Stripes Brewery, Upstate Business Journal reported on June 6.

The brewery plans to close its location in Taylors and move into the former White Duck Taco and Birds Fly South spaces at Hampton Station. 13 Stripes Brewery’s new location is slated to open spring 2026.

“13 Stripes Breweries owners and team are excited to start this next chapter and to bring to Hampton Station our passion for craft beer and community,” said Aaron Robinson, owner and COO of 13 Stripes Brewery.

13 Stripes Brewery originally opened in Taylors in 2017. The brewery, named after the original American Flag from the Revolutionary War, is known for its craft beer offerings and has become a staple in the Upstate.

Hampton Station is located at 1320 Hampton Ave. Ext., in Greenville’s Water Tower District. The former cotton warehouse turned mixed-use hub was purchased by Charlotte-based Abacus Capital in December 2024. The ownership group has completed improvements to Hampton Station, along with securing new tenants.

“The addition of 13 Stripes Brewery reflects our commitment to build on the spirit of Hampton Station while introducing fresh energy and experiences that align with our existing community,” said Wes McAdams, managing partner at Abacus Capital. “We’re excited for their arrival and the vibrancy they will bring to the property.”

13 Stripes Brewery’s new location at Hampton Station will be adjacent to The Yard, a renovated green space with picnic seating and a putt-putt course. The brewery will occupy the space next to Isomer Project Group.

Bryaden Wynn and Cortney Carter with Collett represented Abacus Capital and Rakan Draz with Trinity Partners represented 13 Stripes Brewery in the lease agreement.
