Ukraine: Q1 beer production up 6.9%

Ukraine’s January-March beer output is up 6.9% versus the same period in 2024, trade association Ukrpivo reported on April 17.

According to official data, production of beer, excluding brands with less than 0.5% alc. by volume, totalled 2.9 mln hl in the first quarter of this year.

Compared to 2021 (the year before the war), the Q1 volume is down 21.9%, though.

In 2024, Ukraine’s brewers increased their output by 4.8% to 14 mln hl.
