World: Barley trade forecast for 2021/22 unchanged in USDAs November report
World 2021/22 barley trade forecast is unchanged in USDA’s November report – at 33.592 mln tonnes vs. 36.074 mln in 2020/21.
Production forecast is down this month, at 146.243 mln tonnes versus 147.988 mln in the October forecast for 2021/22 and 160.477 mln tonnes in 2020/21.
World barley consumption is seen at 150.315 mln tonnes versus 151.775 mln tonnes in the October report and 161.889 mln in 2020/21. Ending stocks are forecast at 16.9 mln tonnes vs. 16.959 and 20.972 mln tonnes, respectively.
