Ukraine: Malt exports reach record in July-April 2016/17

Ukraine’s malt exports amounted to 93 thousand tonnes in July-April 2016/17, which is 40% above the total export for the previous season (66.2 thousand tonnes) and is an absolute record for the country’s malt shipments to other countries, Rosinvest reported on May 26.

In 2016/17, Ukrainian malt is being mainly exported to Angola (32% of the total volume), Mexico (11%), Moldova (10%), and Vietnam (9%).
