Ukraine: Barley prices reach maximum

Ukrainian barley market remained utterly changeable/sensitive to all changes, Agroperspectiva announced March 23. After Government had supported market by means of quoting regime canceling, Veterinary Medicine State Department Chief Inspector issued Decree on feed grains veterinary attestation services cost 5 times growth. Experts say services cost growth will inflict inevitable damage to grains producers, who were recently given possibility to export their grains remainders.

Experts admit within this week feed barley prices have reached maximal and will remain unchanged in near future.

Feed barley exporters purchase prices were UAH860–900 per MT, CPT port.

US$ prices ranged within US$170–180 per MT (FOB)/US$160–170 per MT (CPT port).
