Ячмінний солод короткого пророщування «Чіт» в пластівцях (розплющені зерна) - це висушений за невисокої температури солод із ячменю, процес пророщування якого після намочування триває набагато коротше, ніж у випадку звичайного солоду.
Солод короткого пророщування зберігає багато характеристик несолодженого ячменю та використовується для підвищення стійкості піни та для урівноваження активності високорозчинних солодів. Надає пиву насиченого присмаку сухого зерна та використовується частіше за все в стаутах.
