Rule G Brewing Co., Coconut Creeks first microbrewery, has closed its doors, ending a short-lived chapter for the 2,800-square-foot venture located at West Creek Plaza, TAPinto reported on May 3.
In a message posted to customers, the owners announced the closure with what they called their final stop a nod to the brewerys railroad-themed branding. The farewell came after a One for the Road party on Wednesday, April 16.
With deep sadness, we announce that Rule G Brewing Co. is pulling into the station for its final stopat least for now, the brewery said in its statement.
The owners cited declining revenue over the past two quarters, rising production costs, and shifting customer patterns as the main reasons behind the decision to shut down.
Opened in late 2023 at 4800 West Hillsboro Boulevard, Rule G Brewing Co. drew attention for its curated craft beer lineup and quirky, railroad-inspired name.
Despite early enthusiasm, the business struggled to gain long-term traction.
The owners said they explored every viable path to stay open but ultimately couldnt overcome the financial challenges.
Its unclear if the brewery will attempt to reopen elsewhere in the future.
