USA: Small signs of improvement reported for US beer sales

While US beer sales have remained weak for considerable time, there are small signs of improvement as witnessed by the latest March data, RMI Analytics said in their early April report.

The overall Total Beer volume index has moved above the key level of 50. Imports remain strong, and Premium Lights are above 50 as well.

While the Craft Index remains below 50, the sector is improving along with Premium Regular brands. Underperforming Cider and FMB/Seltzer are also up.
