Russia: January-September beer output up 2.2%

Russia’s beer production increased by 2.2% in January-September this year versus the same period in 2020, reaching 63.1 mln hl, Profibeer reported on October 28 citing Rosstat data.

In September alone output totalled 6.37 mln hl, up 8.4% versus September 2020 but 19% less than in August this year.

Production of strong alcohol in September as compared to the same month last year declined, the state statistics service said.
