Un tipo de malta secada ligeramente producida de cebada orgánica remojada que ha germinado por un periodo de tiempo muy corto.
La malta orgánica de cebada chit en copos tiene muchas de las características de la cebada cruda y es utilizada para mejorar la estabilidad de la espuma y equilibrar las maltas muy solubles. Confiere a la cerveza orgánica un rico sabor de grano secado y se utiliza principalmente en la cerveza orgánica de tipo stout. Esta malta mejora la formación y la estabilidad de la espuma.
