UK: Tiger Beer media account is going to be handled by Young & Rubicam

Tiger Beer is reviewing its UK media business, following last month's appointment of Young & Rubicam to handle its advertising, Brand Republic published October 25.

The media account is currently handled by Walker Media; Tiger has asked other, smaller agencies to pitch.

Asia Pacific Breweries appointed Young & Rubicam following a five-way pitch involving roster agencies Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi Malaysia and BBDO Singapore, as well as non-roster agency M&C Saatchi. Young & Rubicam will drive Tiger's global communications.

Tiger Beer revamped its logo and packaging through Design Bridge earlier this year, supported by a £5 million promotional budget.
