USA, AZ: Formation Brewing to officially open its doors in Phoenix on November 8

Fifth Street, inviting guests to enjoy locally inspired beer, inventive food, and a warm, communal atmosphere in one of Phoenixs most well-known neighborhoods, the Valley Girl reported on October 27.
The brewery will mark its grand opening on Saturday, November 8, with a celebration featuring live music, giveaways, food and drink specials, and more.
Spanning 10,000 square feet, the new space is designed with connection in mind. A central sunken seating area anchors the taproom, surrounded by a 19-tank brewhouse that offers guests a glimpse of the brewing process. The venue also includes a 110-seat dining room, an upstairs bar and lounge available for private events, and a heated and cooled outdoor patio with fire pits and big-screen TVs.
Formation Brewing is more than a place to grab a pint its a place to connect, CEO Eric Foster said. Weve poured intention into every detail, and were proud to share this space with the community.
Leading the brewerys production is Sam Townsend, a two-time Great American Beer Festival gold medalist and former brewer at Funkwerks in Colorado. Townsends debut lineup of Arizona-inspired beers draws from the flavors and spirit of the Southwest while showcasing his nationally recognized craftsmanship.
The kitchen complements the brewerys offerings. Guests can enjoy a selection of shareables, salads, bowls, sandwiches, burgers, and Detroit-style pizzas.
Highlights include smoked elote dip, crispy desert tanglers, smoked chicken wings, and smoked pork nachos. Fresh salads and hearty bowls round out the menu, featuring dishes like a smoked jalapeño Caesar, a chopped salad with grilled chicken, a quinoa power bowl, and a chorizo and smoked corn bowl.
ormation Brewing plans to host regular events, collaborations with artists and makers, and private tastings that celebrate Arizonas craft beer culture and foster meaningful connections among guests.
