USA, TX: Austin’s Blue Owl Brewing announces new ownership

Austin-based Blue Owl Brewing recently announced new ownership. Brothers Tony and Ian Norris, in partnership with original co-founder and executive brewer Jeff Young, took over the business as of April 23, Community Impact reported.

Known for its collection of sour and uniquely brewed beers, “the soul of Blue Owl isn’t going anywhere,” a news release from the company states.

The duo will focus on expanding the brewery’s Bob’s Fine Beers line, which includes Bob’s Your Uncle Juicy IPA and Bob’s Cold One Light Lager.

The brewery will be holding its Blue Owl Rehatched party May 9 in celebration of the transition, including live music, special beer releases, newly revamped patio, food specials and more.

“Since the beginning, Blue Owl Brewing has crafted unique experiences for our fans and community,” Tony Norris said in a statement. “That unique experience caught my attention many years ago, and I'm thrilled to now work with this amazing team to bring you the next chapter of Blue Owl.”
