USA, ND: Bismarck Brewing closes its doors after seven years in business

Bismarck Brewing has closed its doors after seven years, KFYR reported on March 14.

Brewing industry challenges� like rising prices for brewing materials, fewer guests and the trend of younger generations drinking less� made the business unsustainable.

�I just don�t know that we quite found whatever that missing piece was to connect with everybody, because you know, it�s like, I like to think I make pretty good beer. You know, I guess I thought that was enough, but I guess it wasn�t,� said Bismarck Brewing owner Jordan Everaert.

Everaert said it�s very difficult in the brewing industry right now, but he plans to keep the Bismarck Brewing brand. He�s shifting his focus to his sister company, Bismarck Distillery.

The Ale Works restaurant remains open and will sell Bismarck Brewing beer until their supply runs out.
