Canada, ON: Signal Brewing Company now under new ownership

Belleville's Signal Brewing Company is under new ownership, InQuinte reported on November 17.

The owner of Skeleton Park Brewery in Kingston has purchased both Signal Brewery in Corbyville and Spearhead Brewing in Kingston under the banner of the newly formed Spearhead Brewing Incorporated.

News of the two acquisitions was made public earlier this week in an article in the Kingston Whig-Standard.

Signal opened in Corbyville as a brewery, restaurant, and entertainment destination in the summer of 2017.

It was later put up for sale after the death of owner Richard Courneyea in December of 2021.

The new owners reportedly have plans underway to reopen Signal in a few weeks.

It has been officially listed as closed since late summer.
