Canada, ON: Turkey Shoot Brewing becomes Keswicks first brewery
The first brewery in Keswick, a community in the south-central Ontario municipality of Georgina, is now open to the public, the Canadian Beer News reported on June 8.
Turkey Shoot Brewing has been founded by Kyle Stewart, Jaclyn Dipietro, and Brennan Roy, and entered the market last summer as a contract brewery while building out its bricks-and-mortar location.
The brewery launched online sales and curbside pick-up in late April, and more recently opened its retail shop for walk-in sales of cans, growlers, and bottles, with a patio and taproom set to follow soon.
In addition to flagship brands Lake Simcoe Lagered Ale (4.8% abv) and Pefferlaw Pale Ale (5% abv), the shop features a rotation of small batch beers that has included Bockelganger Bock (6.8% abv), Jacksons Point Pilsner (4.2% abv), Wild Turkey IPA (6.5% abv) and others, all featuring 100% Ontario-grown hops.
Turkey Shoot Brewing is located at 482 The Queensway South in Keswick, and is open Thursday to Sunday.
