EU: Barley exports in July-March 2020/21 drop by 2.5%
EU-27’s barley exports (excluding malt) to 3rd countries during July 2020 – 28 March 2021 were 5.7 mln tonnes, 2.5 % less than a year ago. H. M. Gauger GmbH said in their April report.
The largest shipper was France with 2.3 mln tonnes, of which 2.1 mln tonnes to China.
Germany shipped 1.1 mln tonnes, and Romania 0.9 mln, the analysts reported.
