USA, NJ: South 40 Brewing Company to permanently close next month

South 40 Brewing Company, located in Edison Township, will permanently close next month. The brewery will officially close on Saturday, June 14, Tap Into Edison reported on May 27.

“We’ve been open for nearly five years and have met so many wonderful customers and their pups that made this was a difficult decision," the company posted online, “Please join us for our last few weeks and if you or someone you know is interested in a turnkey brewery business…give us a shout…Cheers!”

South 40 Brewing Company is located at 110 Newfield Ave, Suite 2, and has been open since October 2020. They've distributed beer to liquor stores and bars across the state, including along Long Beach Island, according to the company.

The brewery will remain open Tuesdays through Thursdays, 4PM-8PM, Fridays and Saturdays, 12PM-10PM, and Sundays, 12PM-8PM. Patrons can drink in the brewery or purchase cans.
