USA, WI: Cercis Brewing Company announces last day of service on February 16

A brewing company in Columbus will be shutting down operations this weekend. Cercis Brewing Company recently announced online that their last day of service will be on February 16th, Daily Dodge reported.

Officials with the business say this was a difficult decision, but due to many challenges, they can no longer sustain operations.

They add that they are proud of the special place that Cercis has become for so many. Over the years, the brewery hosted many community activities including music events, art classes, book discussions, family anniversaries, weddings, and class reunions.

The brewery also thanked their dedicated team of cooks, dishwashers, bartenders, servers, and cleaning staff, as well as former employees who were with them throughout the years.

The business notes that the craft brewing industry is becoming more challenging every day and they urge the public to support the many local area and statewide breweries that continue to brew delicious beer.
