USA: Beer sales continue to struggle, data from US Beer Distributing Industry shows

The latest data from the US Beer Distributing Industry points to continued struggles for beer sales, RMI Analytics said in their October report.

The September data shows almost all categories are below the key Index level of 50, with imports being the sole exception. Ongoing struggles for the craft brewing sector continue, while major volumes sectors for premium and below premium also showed poor results.

This is a disappointing shift after the previous 2-3 months of improving numbers, the analysts point out.
