USA, PA: Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant ready to open brewpub No. 22

Back in the pre-pandemic days, it felt like Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant was opening a brewery and/or restaurant every other day as part of its �20 by 20� initiative. Things have slowed, real estate-wise since nailing that objective, but the Iron Hill team is once again aiming to �open two full-service brewery and restaurant concepts each year for the next few years.� First up is a new restaurant in Pennsylvania�s Lehigh Valley in Spring 2024, the Craft Brewing Business reported on September 26.

A much-anticipated construction milestone is the delivery of brewery equipment, including the tank delivery and installations in the first quarter.

The planned spot in the Lehigh Valley Mall, the largest shopping mall in the Lehigh Valley, will be the 22nd brewery and restaurant overall for Iron Hill, originally founded in Delaware in 1996. The other 21 locations span across Delaware, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Georgia.

�The Lifestyle Center at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall is a large, dynamic shopping center, with the location being a naturally strategic step for us to strengthen our brand presence in suburban markets,� said Chris Westcott, CEO of Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurants. �We are thrilled to introduce the Lehigh Valley community to Iron Hill, and our goal is to build a restaurant team that will continue to exceed our guests� expectations in providing the best in our award-winning craft beer, inviting atmosphere, and delicious, memorable meals.�

Iron Hill will bring about 100 full and part-time jobs to the bustling shopping center. As an established local brand with nearly thirty years of history, the brewery and restaurant group will search for a local General Manager as well as various front and back-of-the-house positions ranging from Executive Chef to line cooks, brewers, and servers throughout the Lehigh Valley. Open houses for interviews will be held leading up to the opening date.

Iron Hill offers a menu that not only pairs well with beer but features 19 dishes incorporating signature Iron Hill beers as an ingredient. In addition to the all-day menu, Iron Hill offers seasonal menus and brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
