World: January-October beer sales up in China, Germany, decline in the US

Chinese beer output totalled 18.6 mln hl in October, minus 14.1% % y/y. The January-October volume was 313.0 mln hl, plus 0.6% y/y, H. M. Gauger GmbH reported earlier this month.

German beer sales reached 6.28 mln hl in October, minus 3.4% y/y, January-October saw 74.2 mln hl, plus 2.8% y/y.

U.S. domestic beer sales were 13.7 mln bbls. in October, minus 5.3% y/y, January-October volume totalled 137.3 mln bbls., minus 4.1% y/y. U.S. January-September beer imports amounted to 31.2 mln bbls., plus 4.6% y/y, of which from Mexico 24.8 mln bbls., plus 11.9% y/y.
