World: World barley markets coming off the late April-early May highs
With harvest beginning, the world barley market is coming off the highs generated during the hot and dry period in late April-early May, RMI Analytics said in their late June report.
France and Canada continue to lead the nominal malting barley market, whereas feed barley is weaker and contributing further to strong malting barley premiums.
No clarity has been achieved on Ukraine grains re-joining world trade, but it could be a further bearish market factor, the analysts said.
