EU: Barley export likely at least 3.25 mln tonnes in July-September

Taxud reports EU barley export shipments of 2.37 mln tonnes during the July 1 – September 26 period vs. 2.1 mln tonnes over the same period a year ago, H. M. Gauger GmbH said in their October report.

Private estimates put the French exports, shipped and loading as of early October, at approximately 1.5 mln tonnes vs. the Taxud figure of 0.6 mln tonnes till August 12. It means that real EU exports are at least 3.25 mln tonnes by the end of September. The French October shipment program looks heavy. French exports to China were 1.3 mln tonnes in July-August this year.
