UK: UK harvests good barley crop this year

The UK, including Scotland, has harvested a good barley crop this year, RMI Analytics reported earlier this month.

Maltsters acceptance rates appear high for barley quality (improved over last year).

The export surplus could approach 1.2 mln tonnes with two thirds being potentially of malting quality.
