Ukraine: Beer and malt output decline in 2020

Ukraine’s beer production totalled 17.97 mln hl last year, down 0.4% versus 2019, Ukrpivo reported on January 13.

The trade association does not include in its statistics zero-alcohol beer and beer below 0.5% alc. by volume.

The nation’s malt production 2020 is estimated at 275,775 tonnes – 18% less than in 2019, it is reported.
