USA, MI: North Pier Brewing coming to downtown St. Joseph

North Pier Brewing is coming to downtown St. Joseph. Owner Jay Fettig made the request of the St. Joseph City Commission for a tasting room at 210 State Street, the former home of Schiller Gallery, News/Talk 94.9 WSJM reported on October 26.

“With this particular license, it would be an off-premise tasting room license,” says Fettig. “So we’d be essentially doing a restaurant and tasting room. The off-premise tasting room license covers spirits and wine. We do a lot of craft cocktails; we do canned cocktails, and we usually offer cider and wine as well.”

The commission granted its unanimous approval for Fettig to seek the Michiga Liquor Control Commission’s liquor license.
