Brewing news USA, SC: New Realm Brewing Co. continues to expand across the Southeast

An Atlanta-based craft brewery continues to expand across the Southeast, 11Alive.com reported on May 21.

New Realm Brewing Co. last week opened a new location in Greenville, South Carolina. It marks the company’s fifth brewery in less than a decade since it launched, according to reporting by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

“More beer in more places is a good thing,” said Carey Falcone, CEO and co-founder of New Realm, in an announcement.

Falcone, Bob Powers and Mitch Steele launched New Realm in 2016 with a flagship location on the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail, spanning 20,000 square feet along the popular pedestrian corridor.

New Realm has since expanded to Auburn, Alabama; Charleston, South Carolina; and Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The Greenville location is focused on “brewing creativity and innovation,” according to the announcement. The team says it plans mixed culture fermentations, barrel-aged strong beers, sour styles and fruited beers, among others.
