Geplette granen van gemoute tarwe – licht geroosterde mout, geproduceerd op basis van geweekte tarwe die gedurende een korte periode heeft gekiemd.
De gemoute tarwevlokken behouden het grootste deel van de eigenschappen van ruwe tarwe en worden gebruikt om de schuimstabiliteit te verhogen en het evenwicht te verbeteren van mout met hoge oplosbaarheid. De vlokken kunnen direct worden toegevoegd aan de mout.
