Licht geroosterde moutsoort geproduceerd op basis van geweekte gerst die gedurende een korte periode heeft gekiemd.
De gerstvlokken behouden de meeste eigenschappen van ruwe gerst en worden gebruikt voor het verbeteren van de schuimstabiliteit en het evenwicht te verbeteren van mout met hoge oplosbaarheid. Voegt een rijke smaak van droge granen toe en word hoofdzakelijke gebruikt in stout. Deze mout versterkt de schuimvorming en -stabiliteit.
