Portugal: Beer consumption, exports increase in 2017

Beer consumption in Portugal increased by 8% last year as compared to 2016, whereas exports grew 12.6%, the Brewers of Portugal reported on February 10.

According to the trade association, the per capita beer consumption in the country was 51 litres versus 47 litres in 2016.

Exports increased to around 200 mln litres, the association said.
