USA: Rallying in support for beer jobs
Hundreds of people are expected to gather for a rally in support of workers at Latrobe Brewing in Westmoreland County today, KDKA posted May 23. They're rallying to show support for the 250 brewery workers whose jobs could be in jeopardy.
Just last week, Anheuser-Busch announced plans to buy the Rolling Rock brand – but not the Latrobe facility. If no one buys the brewery, the workers will lose their jobs at the end of July.
May 23 rally takes place at Dino's Sports Lounge on Route 30 at noon.
