Brewing news Finland: Ralf Hollmén elected chairman of the Federation of the Brewing and Soft Drinks Industry

Acting Managing Director Ralf Hollmén (Oy Hartwall Ab) was elected chairman of the Federation of the Brewing and Soft Drinks Industry at the board meeting on 16 May 2006, media released May 22.

Other board members in 2006 are managing director Lasse Aho, Olvi Oyj, managing director Mikael Aro, Oy Sinebrychoff Ab and managing director Marcus Kanerva, Nokian Panimo Oy.

Mika Seitovirta, who has served as chairman since January 2006, is leaving his position as the managing director of Oy Hartwall Ab at the beginning of June.


The Federation of the Brewing and Soft Drinks Industry promotes the interests of producers of beer, cider, long drinks, soft drinks and mineral waters in Finland. Its members are Oy Hartwall Ab, Nokian Panimo Oy, Olvi Oyj and Oy Sinebrychoff Ab.

The Federation of the Brewing and Soft Drinks Industry operates in connection with the Finnish Food and Drink Industries Federation and is among the four largest industries in the food and drink branch in terms of the value of production.
