Serbia and Montenegro: Two and a half centuries of brewing interrupted

Majority owner of Zrenjaninska pivara brewery Momcilo Rajic confirmed that production facilities were halted in this factory over financial difficulties, announcing that beer production would continue "once conditions are restored", Serbia and Montenegro Today posted on May 09.

Several years after the privatisation and financial turmoil, the factory failed to recover, which is why the brewery, established in 1745, halted production few days ago.
