Brewing news USA, NE: Nebraska Brewing Company closing for good after 18 years in business

Nebraska Brewing Company is closings its doors after 18 years, Omaha World-Herald reported on October 3.

The La Vista brewery, located at 6950 S. 108th St., announced its impending closure in a Facebook post Thursday.

"18 years is a long time. We’ve made friends, family, and most importantly a community of craft beer drinkers come together for nearly two decades at Nebraska Brewing Company, but all good things, eventually, come to an end," the post said.

The brewery opened its doors in November of 2007, and in addition to offering craft beers and artisanal barrel-aged products, it offered guided tours.

No closing date has been set at this time, but more information can be found on Nebraska Brewing Company's Facebook and website.
