USA, SC: Middle James Brewing closes Rock Hill location

A Rock Hill brewery is the latest closure at The Power House, the downtown food hall in University Center, The Herald reported.

Middle James Brewing Co. announced its closing Sept. 6. Middle James was the anchor location at the food hall that opened two years ago at the former city power plant on Technology Center Way.

“We know Rock Hill deserved more than this, and it’s never easy to say goodbye,” a message on the brewery’s Instagram page said. “Please know how much we’ve cherished pouring beers, sharing stories and being part of your lives here.”

Middle James locations in North Carolina — in Pineville and Waxhaw — will remain open.
