USA, GA: AB InBev making major investment in Cartersville brewery
Anheuser-Busch is making a major investment in metro Atlanta, Atlanta News First reported on September 8.
The beer giant is pouring $9.2 million into its Cartersville brewery.
The investment will go toward upgrading equipment to fuel increased production of beers, including Michelob Ultra, which the company said is the No. 1 fastest-growing beer brand in the U.S. and the No. 1 beer in Georgia.
Anheuser-Busch said the investment will bring more high-quality products to customers while supporting the Bartow County community.
The Cartersville brewery opened in 1993 and makes 48 different products shipped across 32 states. Since 2020, Anheuser-Busch has invested more than $230 million in the brewery, which is part of the nearly $2 billion its invested in its 100 U.S. facilities over the past five years, the company said in a press release Monday.
The upgrades are also part of the companys $300 million investment in its facilities in 2025 to create and sustain American manufacturing jobs, the company said.
