EU: Malt exports in July-March 2021/22 slightly below last season’s

EU malt exports in July 1, 2021 – March 27, 2022 were 2.187 mln tonnes, vs. 2.277 in 20/21 and 2.092 in 2019/20 (in grain equivalent), H. M. Gauger GmbH reported earlier in April.

The major destinations were Brazil which imported 212 thousand tonnes, Nigeria with 148 thousand tonnes, and Japan with 138 thousand.
