USA, KY: 16 Lots Brewing Company opening second location at Newport on the Levee
16 Lots Brewing Company is opening a second location at Newport on the Levee, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported on April 25.
The new location, which will be known as 16 Lots Southern Outpost, will feature the same core brands of beers offered at the microbrewery's Mason location, as well as new craft cocktails, a gastropub-style food menu, alcoholic slushies and absinthe service.
According to a press release, the space will have nautically themed décor, a cigar lounge, a 2,000-square-foot outdoor patio and space for live music.
16 Lots Co-owner Del Hall, who recently finished his 46-day beer-only lent fast, said he wanted to open a second location in the heart of Cincinnati.
"Mason is an awesome community and there's a lot going on... but being a city guy myself, I've always wanted to have a second location as close to downtown as possible," he said.
The company is hoping to open the brewery near the forthcoming Amador Cuban Restaurant and Bar before Christmas, but no later than St. Patrick's Day 2023.
"The Levee is such a unique experience and it's very Cincinnati. It's really good to see it flourish," Hall added. "I can't wait to be a part of it."
16 Lots' expansion arrives amidst a wave of additions at the Levee, the most recent one being the new Velocity Esports bar, restaurant and arcade.
