France: Winter barley harvest shows little progress this week

An estimated 79% of French soft wheat was in good or excellent condition in the week to June 28, unchanged from the previous week, farm office FranceAgriMer said on July 2.

The winter barley harvest showed little progress, with 2% of the crop area cut. That compared with 1% the previous week and is well behind 36% a year earlier, FranceAgrimer said in a cereal report.
