EU: Malt exports to third countries up 5.9% in July-March 2020/21

EU malt exports from July 1, 2020 till March 28, 2021 totalled 2.216 mln tonnes (in grain equivalent), plus 5.9% year-on-year, H. M. Gauger GmbH reported earlier in April.

Main destinations were: Brazil with 329 thousand tonnes, Nigeria with 165 thousand, Vietnam with 128 thousand tonnes, Japan with 117 thousand tonnes, and Cambodia with 97 thousand.
